Internationalizing the Small and Medium Sized Firm – four cases
Yin (1994) talks about six different kinds of data that are applicable to case studies. These are; interviews, documents, direct observations, archival records, participant observations and physical artifacts. The main source of data for this thesis is the interviews conducted with key personnel at the chosen case companies. Company documents and company websites have been used mainly to prepare for the interviews with specific companies and during the selection process. They were also used to verify some statements of a more factual nature made by the respondents.
